How To Make Money With YouTube That Doesn’t Involve Monetization?

Someone asked me: Why it was a bad idea to close my AdSense since YouTube Demonetized me? My response is: Well you do know your AdSense still can earn you ad revenue?

Placing ads on a webpage may not earn revenue as fast as the YouTube ads used to but with careful placement and use of other affiliate links. Pretty much just like YouTube advertisements Adsense works with EPC (earnings per click) and CPC (cost per click). Bottom line is publishers (you) will get paid for clicks on ads appearing in their websites.

But I don’t have a website?

Well make one. There are plenty of free solutions out there to make free websites and some pretty good low cost solutions and you really don’t need a web designer like in the past or super programming knowledge.

Here are a few:

• Wix
• WordPress
• Blogger

What about Patreon? – I really don’t know much about Patreon. Yes I know the concept they are promoting but I haven’t completed my own Patreon page and truthfully I am having a heck of a time of creating content, let alone to make exclusive content on a regular basis at least until I can get viewership here on my “free” outlet.

Subscription Gate: – Not sure how this will work, you really have to have a following to convince people to pay to watch your content. I call this the porn site model. People will pay a monthly charge in order to gain access to your material. You better have something that others don’t have in order to maximize this option.

Merchandise Sales: – Merchandise sites like Skyou and Café Press allow for you to upload your own designs and add them to many different products like coffee mugs sweatshirts and t-shirts. I always suggest buy some of your own products and wear them in your video to show off quality and design.
